Marcie Swift has over thirty years of experience with adolescents and adults, specializing in assessment and counseling related to college and career choices. Individual sessions as well as group workshops for the private day school and boarding school.
Marcie specializes in the adolescents who may feel unsure of themselves and their future, and promotes self-awareness and confidence. She views the college application process as a rite of passage, a time of defining identity, separating from family, and taking charge of and expanding their professional network.
All of her clients report increased self-knowledge and self-confidence, making the processes of choice of major, essay writing, and interviewing far more powerful and focused. Most important of all, students not only identify their passions in life, but find the strength and wisdom to meet their true potential, while creating visions of a gratifying and fulfilling life.
